Normally, only the guy struggling with porn has an opportunity to repent and believe in his relationship to the internet...
but when idols are introduced the normal categories for sin get introduced. How?

Often the same thing that motivates one man to gaze on porn motivates a different person to "zone out" in an online game, or get the unnecessary details of some news event though lots of searching and reading. Let's not even mention chatrooms dedicated to music and Gator football! If sin is now trying to find life (comfort/excitement/et al) through anything but Jesus and His righteousness, everyman now has the sweet opportunity to repent of trusting/whoring elsewhere and return into the arms of Jesus.
